Any charitable organisation based in the UK is eligible to apply for a grant, as are any educational institutions (schools, universities, etc.) whether or not they are a registered charity.

If you are interested in making an application for a grant from the Foundation we recommend that you consult our Information for Applicants before submitting the form as this may increase the chances of your application proving successful.

SMALL GRANT PROGRAMME - update at 21st August 2025

Our Small Grant programme is now closed as 150 applications have been received in our August 2025 funding round.

Our August 2025 funding round was open from 1st August 2025 until 31st August 2025 or when 150 application had been received. The focus of the funding round was on projects that improve the quality of life and social engagement for people with severe physical and/or learning disabilities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

All applications to our Small Grant programme must be made using the online form which can be accessed from our website during each Small Grant Funding round.

Applications submitted in our August 2025 Small Grant funding round will be considered at our Trustees’ meeting on 15th October 2025. Successful applicants will be contacted within two weeks of the meeting. As a small organisation with limited administrative resources, we do not routinely contact unsuccessful applicants.

Our next Small Grant funding round is scheduled to take place between 1st and 31st March 2026 and the focus will be confirmed at least one month before the opening date.
