SMALL GRANT PROGRAMME - update at 29th July 2026
Our Small Grant Programme is open from 1st to 31st August 2026, and the focus is on projects that support people, particularly those with physical or learning disabilities, to access the natural world and spend time outdoors. The funding round will be closed on 31st August 2026 or when 150 applications have been received.
Applications that do not fit the focus for this grant round, or our wider criteria for our Small Grant Programme, will be automatically rejected. Applicants are strongly advised to bear this in mind when submitting an application and to check the information on our website, or contact us on secretary@woodroffebenton.org.uk, if they are unsure.
Applications submitted in our August 2026 Small Grant funding round will be considered at our Trustees’ meeting on 21st October 2026. Successful applicants will be contacted within two weeks of the meeting. As a small organisation with limited administrative resources, we do not routinely contact unsuccessful applicants. Please note: payment of Small Grants awarded in our August funding round will be paid in early December 2026.
We have two Small Grant funding rounds each year – in March and August – and each will have a different focus on one or more of the Trustees’ key areas of interest. All applications for Small Grant funding must be submitted using the online application form which is accessible from our website during one of our Small Grant Programme application rounds.
If you have any queries regarding an application to our Small Grant Programme, please contact us on secretary@woodroffebenton.org.uk
